this is where i list and show appreciation for some of my faves... mostly characters from anime, but also some others. press the cd's to read more about why i like them.

naru narusegawa of love hina: one of the first manga/anime characters i felt a strong connection to. as a kid i always thought she was the best hinata girl, not only because she's a main character but because we had so much in common. what's funny is that when i got older i found myself having even more things in common with her.

shuichi shindou of gravitation: some characters are just too sweet to not like. shuichi is one of those. his energy and passion is unbeatable, and as a kid i always admired that. as an adult i can sometimes wish i had that much energy and passion for the things i do.

the pokemon franchise: i was a kid when the first pokemon craze was at it's peak in my country. like most other kids my age i collected pokemon cards and watched when it aired on tv. but to be honest i was probably too young to actually fully enjoy it all. it wasn't until i got the first game boy games that i was hooked.

hello! project: a franchise that i was introduced by via morning musume. as a kid i always thought h!p units had the cutest clothes and songs, very different to a lot of western artists and groups that i had previously liked. i would say they were probably one of the reasons i came to enjoy japanese fashion styles!

daisuke asakura: my favourite musician of all time, and the reason i found out about him was actually through the previously mentioned anime gravitation. basically all the songs he has produced are masterpieces if you ask me. and i've grown more interested in japanese music in general thanks to him.
